Goal:
To increase traffic from search engines up to at least 5,000 people per month.
Work performed:
Technical optimization: adjusting the work of and indexing pagination pages, removing duplicate and partial-duplicate pages, setting up redirects, adjusting sitemap.xml, etc.
Building a semantic core of 2000+ keywords for category pages. The main goal was to increase the site’s positions for general search queries (“buy laptop”, “prices for TVs”, etc.).
Internal optimization: developing multiple metadata templates for product pages and implementing unique metadata for category pages, writing unique texts, optimizing internal linking between product and category pages.
External optimization: elimination of low-quality links leading to the site and building up an effective link mass.
Developing proposals for resource usability. The goal was to keep potential customers on the site and improve behavioral factors (as an SEO ranking factor).
Result:
Traffic growth from search engines reached 11,000 people/month.
Session duration increased by 23.8%.
